Pixel 7 Review: Return of the King?

this is the new pixel 7 and let me get pixels have been priced in pakistan over the years and this is the price of the pixel 7. at 599 the pixel 7 is only 2 000 rupees more than the OG Pixel which launched six years back that is good that's all you can actually get the pixel 7 under 50 000 rupees using different bank discounts yes 47k for the pixel 7. so is this like the big return of pixel flagships in India The Return  of the King or is it another one of failed attempts Pixel 7 Review: Return of the King?  from Google see I think this the pixel 7 is Google's best pixel phone aimed at India and that's mostly due to the price now let me tell you straight away that this is not the phone to get for Cutting Edge specs or features and I'm okay with that approach except for one area take for Pixel 7 Review: Return of the King?

example the display it's a 90 Hertz OLED in a time when most standard flagships in this price segment either have 120 hertz amoleds or 120 hertz ltp or AMOLED so this feels like a letdown at least in terms of specs but is it a big issue if you ask me it's not this display that looks very good very vibrant and sharp it is fairly smooth and responsive and it is bright enough to be visible Outdoors it also supports HDR streaming in apps like Netflix YouTube Prime video and combine that with the stereo speaker setup that is fairly loud and clean and you get a good device for watching movies and shows and yeah I also like  this 6.3 inch screen size I mean there are no compact pixel phones anymore but I find this size way more handy when  compared to the Pro Mod it also has a flat screen design unlike the probe which I personally prefer plus I like that it takes the pixel 6 design and makes it slightly more compact the screen is 0.1 inch smaller it is 10 grams lighter 0.2 inches thinner

and I think this aluminum camera bar that now merges with the frame adds to the whole premium white see I like the pixel 6 design because it did not look like anything on the market and that is why I also like the pixel 7 design I mean you look at it and you know that this is a pixel phone and there are no compromises ip68 water and dust resistance check wireless charging check fast USBC 3.2 port check there is one strange thing though when the screen is off and you  look closely at the screen in direct sunlight you can see some of the internal components under the display it's not a problem if you ask me because a bit weird the seven also fixes some of the issues I had with the six the six of us banned for its slow fingerprint scanner so it's nice to see that the one on the pixel 7 feels a bit faster also remember the pixel 6A issue where the fingerprint scanner was working with pretty much everyone in our office Pixel 7 Review: Return of the King?

well that's been fixed there's lots of Face Unlock finally on the pixel and it works very well although I would have liked an option to escape the home screen once Face Unlock works right now it works like on the iPhone you have to swipe up another example of the pixel 7 not bringing the Cutting Edge specs is in the chipset I feel Google introduced the tensorship so just to make Pixel 7 Review: Return of the King?  sure that it does not get dragged into the whole chipset Rat Race anymore and you feel the same with the tensor G2 the G2 does bring higher clock cores a newer GPU and a more advanced entry for all the AI capabilities but essentially at its core it's the same as last year's tensor chipset there are rumors that this is a phone animator chipset but Google  recently confirmed that it's built using the five nanometer architecture this shows in the

benchmarks as the scores beat the tensor G1 in AI benchmarks but  if you care about CPU and GPU benchmarks it's clear that the tensor G2 is not competing with the flagship chipsets out there in fact it also has most of the trades you expect from a chipset made on Samsung's 5 nanometer architecture the pixel 7 gets warm a lot of the times it obviously goes warm and a little bit hot when running a benchmark test but it also gets a little bit warm when doing something as simple as installing a number of apps or installing an update plus the phone does throttle in the CPU throttling test app I wouldn't call this a deal breaker because the phone never overheats and I did not notice the phone slowed down for me in day-to-day usage even games don't have any issues they run fairly smoothly and unlike iPhones there's no screen dimming here as well but yeah this does put a little bit of long-term performance especially if  you're someone who games a lot but I  don't have a

doubt is on the cameras and the software see Google's take on Android is expected to be the best and it is I'm not a fan of Google's three major Hardware updates promise because Samsung offers four but that apart this is the most premium Android experience you can get Android 13 combined with the pixel UI looks beautiful and it's joy to use and it's gonna get the latest updates on the first day of launch which is not something you can get on other Android phones plus with the pixel 7 you get new camera tricks powered by the tensor G2 there's better super resume Fast Night side and all the other cool Google camera features but my favorite new feature is photo under it's actually impressive as the name tells you this sharpens your bloody photos and works brilliantly on even older photos saved on my Google photos just look at the diference it makes this is one of my older family photos and look at

Pixel 7 Review: Return of the King?

the difference on blur makes it sharpens the faces and the textures and it does so without ruining the photo here's another photo where it has done a really good job now this is obviously not a feature you're going to use all the time but when you do require it it's going to be incredibly useful the next cool camera trick is Cinematic blur in videos this is limited to 1080p 24 FPS Pixel 7 Review: Return of the King?  on the pixel 7 which is okay but I would have liked Focus support like on the iPhones now I did shoot a comparison video versus the iPhone and the pixel cinematic mode is definitely better than the same feature on Vivo phones and opa phones but yeah the blur is a bit unnatural compared to the iPhone having said that it's a good start and I hope Google keeps on making this better see camera tricks apart the pixels have always had class leading cameras and I

know some of the companies have caught up to the whole computational photography game but when I was using the pixel 7 and taking photos it felt like I was using a high-end camera phone look I know that most of the new camera upgrades have been reserved for the pro model and this has the same camera setup as the 6 but that's not stopping it from taking some great photos I mean I can go into details like color accuracy dynamic range etc etc but what really matters is that this phone takes absolutely stunning photos no matter what the situation is the pixel 7 delivers a very crisp and nice photo and a lot of times the viewfinder will leave you unimpressed only for the phone's processing to make up for it this goes for the main camera obviously but portrait mode shots are great too with Google's real tone Tech the ultrawide Google has updated the selfie camera to a new 10 megapixel Ultra

wide sensor that is really cool and it takes some really great selfies and it's great for video calling if you're wondering I did compare the cameras on the pixel 7 versus the s22 and the s32 does win in a few photos but mostly the pixel 7 holds its own it's just better video recording seems better too here's a comparison video between the pixel 7 and the top end iPhone 14 pro Max and see how close both the phones are in terms of video quality and stability yeah it's awesome even daytime things were pretty close honestly I'm loving this because we have been wanting Google to take videos more seriously I also liked that the pixel 7 shoots 4K 60fps videos from all of its cameras and I like that you can switch lenses when shooting in 4k 60fps moving to the last bits of this review there's obviously the battery life see I was honestly doubtful because the pixel 7's battery is actually 300 MH smaller than on the pixel 6 but the battery life for me has been good the pixel's battery page in our show screen on time for the past 24 hours but when I manually checked and Pixel 7 Review: Return of the King?

Pixel 7 Review: Return of the King?

calculated my screen on time on most occasions was around five and a half to six hours which I think is good the charging is not crazy fast there's obviously no charge in the box and it supports up to 30 see what fast charging now with a fast USB PD charger the phone took one hour 32 minutes to go from 10 to 100 percent the pixel 7 has all the other Basics there's scattered aggregation sport there's 5G sport including all of the Indian 5G bands and the 5G option hasn't been enabled yet but that will be soon via an update anyway let's conclude things let's get back to the original question is this like the big return of pixel flagships in India the answer is yes this is Google's best attempt to win the Indian smartphone market the pixel 7 brings the flagship pixel experience at a price that's not crazy this in itself is a win this and the fact that

Pixel 7 Review: Return of the King?

Google plans to make phones in India shows that they want to be competitive in the Indian market which is great see I'm not sure how well the pixel 7 Pro will do because it reaches the iPhone price range but the pixel 7 is actually a good phone at a good price if you want the best Android experience incredible cameras all wrapped in a premium package under 50K I will recommend you to get the pixel 7. there's just one caution though and it's an important one if you're someone who games a lot on their phones the better eight plus gen 1 phones that you should go for see I will keep using the pixel 7 as my primary phone over the comment share thank you Pixel 7 Review: Return of the King?
